Almaty to run Childhood without Cruelty and Abuse awareness campaign

The event will be supported by the Committee for Children's Rights Protection of the Ministry of Education and Science. The aim is to raise public awareness on the problems of cruelty and child abuse, its consequences for a child and the society, and fundamentals of the international and national legislation.

Parents, children, youth, reps of public agencies, mass media, public and non-governmental organizations rendering assistance to children and teenagers who has suffered from cruelty and violence and supporting families in trouble are expected to take part in this campaign.
