Almaty to host 2014 Men's Water Polo World Cup

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Almaty is set to host the 2014 FINA Men's Water Polo World Cup from 19 till 24 August 2014.
Kazakhstan, South Africa, the U.S., Australia, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia and Hungary will participate in the international water polo tournament. The Kazakh team will take on Australia on the first day of the tournament. Organized by FINA, the Water Polo World Cup was first held in 1979. Serbia won the previous World Cup held in Hungary. Croatia clinched water polo silver. Bronze went to Spain.
