Almaty to enter top 10 Asia's largest financial centers

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Almaty will be able to enter the top 10 Asia's largest financial centers," head of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Kairat Kelimbetov said a briefing.
"Now Almaty ranks 58th in the Global Financial Centres Index (GFC) that examines the major financial centres globally in terms of competitiveness. We need to do a lot to join the top 50. Our goal is to enter the top 10 largest financial centers of Asia, currently we are the 13th," he added. "This goal will be realized within the new financial centre development concept 2020," he resumed.
