Almaty hosts charity event for children in honor of Nowruz
ALMATY. March 22. KAZINFORM - In Almaty in honor of Nowruz holiday "Almaly" shopping center together with «Bekmambetov Cinema», "Coffeemania" coffee house, "Fun Balls" playground gives the real rejoicing to the children from Meirym rehabilitation center.
The program includes playing on the playground, the performance of children on the ground part of the centre, watching "Samurai Kruds" cartoon in Bekmambetov Cinema, tea drinking, after which the young guests will be presented books.
The same day the shopping center "Almaly" is waiting for all residents of Almaty, Republic Square, where there will be display of the ancient game of nomads: "Oktau tartys" ("dragging a rope"), "Asyk Atu" (throwing bones), " Jamby Atu"(archery).
Also in the program there is a treat with Nauryz kozhe, baursaks, rice and other goodies, an exhibition of national souvenirs, еру children's entertainment program with animators and competitions, contests with prizes and gifts, and dancing routines.
In the evening there will be a performance of the Ensemble of Folk Instruments. The holiday will end with awarding the winners of the contest called "Be a face of Almaly."
