Almaty charity event raises money for children's hospice

ALMATY. January 18. KAZINFORM An auction exhibition of a young, but already well-known artist Serik Buksikov was held in Almaty city. The auction was a good way to raise money for the Almaty Children's Hospice.
Businessman and head of "Generation of Mercifulness" Charity Foundation Bakhyt Niyazov is the one who initiated the project. 30 pictures auctioned during the event were created by the artist within the Dream and Wings Art Project.
"Each painting is very bright and positive, it symbolizes strength, energy, happiness, harmony and many other things. They all contain wise sayings that can bring positive changes into people's lives," Mr. Niyazov said.
The paintings were retailed for KZT 400.000 each.
