Almaty applies latest breast cancer treatment techniques

ALMATY. KAZINFORM "Breast cancer is the third leading cause of death among women in Kazakhstan," Almaty chief oncologist Dilyara Kaidarov said.
"Last year 541 women were diagnosed with breast cancer in Almaty. Almost 83% of cancer cases were identified early, while 14,5% at the fourth stage. Caught it its early stages 98% of breast cancer can be cured," she added. "The Almaty cancer centre applies the latest breast cancer treatment techniques and intraoperative ray treatment," she resumed.
