The event brought together representatives of government agencies, investment funds, financial institutions, and leading development and technology companies of Kazakhstan and China.

Participants were presented with Alatau's key development areas, including preferential conditions for investors, one-stop support for investment projects, and other benefits of the special legal regime.

Organizers paid special attention to exploring the experience of Shenzhen — one of the world's leaders in innovation and digital governance. Best practices from the Chinese megacity are planned to be actively applied in the construction of the Kazakh city.

The program included a series of bilateral meetings with the leadership of major Chinese corporations, including such giants as China Resources, Ping An Group, China State Construction Engineering Corporation International, Funde-Gemdale Group, China International Marine Containers Group, Sunwah Group, SINOMACH Hainan Development, and others.

The sides discussed Chinese business participation in Alatau's infrastructure projects, production localization, technology transfer, and exchanging best practices in urban development.

The main outcome of the meetings was the signing of 24 cooperation agreements. The sides agreed to implement joint projects in industry, energy, logistics, high technology, and the digital economy, with a total investment potential of up to $6 billion.

The roadshow in Shenzhen demonstrated strong international business interest in the development of Alatau City. The project has caught the eye of major market players.

Work will continue in Hong Kong, where meetings are planned with leading investment funds, banks, insurance companies, and tech giants
