Al-Farabi KazNU celebrates Kazakhstan Independence with a special event

It was opened by KazNU rector G.Mutanov, who said that "Independence Day is the greatest day in the modern history of our country. Over these 22 years, Kazakhstan has managed to take its rightful place in international community. The socioeconomic and external policy model of the country's development pursued by our President has proved to be effective. Today, the independent Kazakhstan is an integral part of the civilized world and ranks as one of the world's fifty most competitive states. KazNU international wins are largely due to the country's achievements in promoting its independence".

At the event, the university's trade union organization named the best faculty members. 120 people working at the university were awarded certificates of merit and valuable prizes. Chamber ensemble "Ad libitum" especially for the KazNU staff performed various musical compositions.
