Akim of Almaty opened first underground shopping mall

ALMATY. April 28. KAZINFORM "Many megacities actively use not only overground territory but also underground. Our new underground facility will be a shopping mall," said Akim of Almaty Akhmetzhan Yessimov during the opening of the first underground trade center "Almaly."
According to the Akim, the shopping mall's total area is 25 thousand sq. m. It has 80 stores of well-known brands, a food court zone and a cinema.
