77-year-old woman, travelling around globe in vintage car, arrives in Almaty (PHOTO)

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Germany's Heidi Hetzer, traveling around the world in her 84-year-old Hudson, has arrived in Kazakhstan, auto.lafa.kz reported.
A 77-year-old German entrepreneur and rally driver, started her two-year round-the-world trip in an 84-year-old vintage car on 24 July 2014. A crowd of Hetzer fans and vintage car enthusiasts gathered at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin to see their favourite rally driver off. In October the brave lady arrived in Kazakhstan. However, in Shymkent the car's generator broke down. Local repair mechanics replaced the broken mechanism with an old generator from Audi. Heidi Hetzer has already arrived in Almaty. She plans to get a visa to China and continue her trip.
