5.3 magnitude strikes near Almaty city

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - An earthquake has been registered near Almaty city at 07:03 a.m. today by a group of earthquake-detection stations in Kazakhstan.
The magnitude 5.3 earthquake hit 622km south-west of Almaty city near the territory of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan at the depth of 10km. There was no immediate word on the fatalities or damages.
