The number of people who got access to piped gas rose from 9.1 million to 13.1 million so far.

Over 1,000 settlements were provided with gas, and 20,000 km of gas distribution networks were built thanks to infrastructure projects aimed at the development of gas transmission and distribution systems.

Over 354,000 people in 94 settlements were provided with natural gas in 2025, and nearly 2,000 km of gas distribution networks were laid.

This year, 40 projects will be implemented to provide some 36,000 people with natural gas.

The Ishim-Astana main gas pipeline construction project is of crucial significance for the northern regions. The Kazakh Government and PJSC Gazprom signed the corresponding memo to ensure stable natural gas supplies to Astana, Kokshetau and Petropavlovsk cities and help diversify the natural gas delivery routes to the country’s north.

As written before, Kazakhstan’s gasification level surpassed 60%.
