4 aftershocks hit near Almaty at night

The National Scientific Center for Seismological Observation and Research of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies recorded an earthquake (aftershock) on Tuesday, January 30, at 04:27 am, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The quake jolted 293 kilometers southeast of Almaty, in the territory of China. Its epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers. The quake's energy class was 13.3 and MPV magnitude was 5.8. The coordinates of the epicenter are 40.89° north latitude and 78.63° east longitude. Earthquake perceptibility: Almaty, 2 points on MSK-64 scale.
Another three earthquakes (aftershocks) with the epicenter in China were registered at 03:03 am, 05:17 am and at 05:30 am. No tremors were felt in Kazakhstan.
