4.3-magnitude quake hits 392km from Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - An earthquake was recorded near Almaty city at 8:14 p.m., Kazinform cites the Network of Seismic Stations of the Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science.
"The epicenter of the earthquake was located in China, 392 km southwest of Almaty. The energy class of the earthquake was 9.9. MPV magnitude: 4.3. The coordinates of the epicenter: 39.81° N 75.85° E. Depth of focus: 5 km," the agency said.
