3 pedestrians hit by Lexus in Almaty

ALMATY. August 6. KAZINFORM Three pedestrians were struck by a hit-and-run driver of a Lexus at a zebra crossing in Almaty, the press service of the Almaty Department of Internal Affairs informed.
The driver did not stop and gave no first aid to victims. Witnesses of the accident memorized the car license number and called to the police.
Unfortunately, an 11-year-old girl died at the scene after an open traumatic brain injury; her 59-year-old grandma had many fractures and died at the emergency department of a hospital and a 31-year-old mother of the girl has been allowed to go home after medical examination. A 24-year-old Lexus driver was arrested in a few hours.
