Zhezkazgan cooper plan to work at least until 2040, Kazakhmys

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM The Kazakhmys executives assured at the meeting with Asset Isekeshev, Investments and Development Minister, that corporation will carry out further exploration works, eke out resources and modernize the Zhezkazgan cooper plant to let it work until 2040.
The group, led by Issekeshev, arrived in the Karaganda region to raise public awareness of the President's Address "Nurly Zhol - The Path to the Future". As stated there, the corporation channeled about KZT 600 mln for exploration works since the beginning of the year. Now it works at reserves replacement. Besides, the state forwarded KZT 2,3 bln for geologic exploration of new territories around Zhezkazgan.
