Zarina Diyas top-earning tennis player in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's Zarina Diyas has won more than $500,000 in prize money at tennis tournaments this season, Kazinform has learned from Vesti.kz.
Her career earnings totaled more than $700,000 meaning the 20-year-old has more than doubled her lifetime earnings over the past eight months. Ranked №163 last year, Diyas broke into the top 50 of the WTA rankings in 2014 elbowing aside more experienced compatriot Yaroslava Shvedova. Next week Zarina will reach her career high ranking in the top 40 after breakthrough performance at the 2014 US Open in New York.
