Zarina Diyas moves up in WTA world rankings

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's №1 in tennis Zarina Diyas has become one step closer to her dream - the WTA's TOP 30 players after the association released the updated world rankings on Monday, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
The 21-year-old Diyas climbed up to the 31st place in the rankings despite her last week's exit at Shenzhen Open to Saisai Zheng in quarterfinals. Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan's Sports Review Magazine crowned Zarina Diyas the 2014 Best Female Athlete last week . Another tennis player from Kazakhstan Yaroslava Shvedova also improved her WTA results and moved three spots up to the 63rd place.
