Yushchenko insists on amending Ukrainian constitution

KIEV. June 10. KAZINFORM Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko has suggested amending the constitution. ?We must do that in order to stabilize Ukraine,? he told a Tuesday press conference in Kiev; Kazinform refers to ITAR-TASS.
?I insist that the parliament must hear my constitutional amendments and refer them to the Constitutional Court. I hope that the Venice Commission will evaluate my constitutional amendments in June,? Yushchenko said; Kazinform cites ITAR-TASS.
