YouTube Premium available in Kazakhstan
YouTube Premium paid subscription service is available now in Kazakhstan. Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry Bagdat Mussin announced it on his Telegram channel, Kazinform News Agency reports.
He reminded of the talks held last March with YouTube Vice President Adam Smith in the Silicon Valley.
“Today I am glad to share good news with you. YouTube Premium is now available in Kazakhstan, with new opportunities for the users and content creators. This event embodies a significant step in the development of digital infrastructure of the country and its integration into the global network,” the Minister’s post reads.
YouTube Premium offers its subscribers an unlimited access to add-free video and musical content, with an option to download content for offline viewing as well as its background play.
According to Mussin, the opportunities of digital economy development and support of local content creators in Kazakhstan are also under discussion now.
