Young weightlifters gather in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The ever-first weightlifting tournament as part of the Children's Day celebrations has kicked off in Astana.
It gathered 20 young athletes born in 1999-2000 from Astana, the Akmola, North Kazakhstan and Karaganda regions. They will be competing in nine weight categories. The tournament is purposed to promulgate weightlifting and sports ta large across Kazakhstan. All the winners will be awarded medals, diplomas and prizes.
