Young economists will compete for a million of rubles within VI Astana Economic Forum

The topic of the Astana youth forum is "Generation Global: the youth initiatives for sustainable economic development".

The forum will open on May 21 with the youth session "Youth Global Mind - Energy of the future. The experience of the EXPO Astana bid campaign and the perspectives of Yekaterinburg". The session will be held by the USUE together with the Department of youth policy of the Ministry of education of Kazakhstan and the National Company «Astana-EXPO 2017». The event will be conducted in the Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilev.

Within the session the participants will find out the plans of Astana EXPO 2017 and the opportunities of the youth to join the volunteers of the world exhibition EXPO.

Also the USUE students will present their projects forsupport of the bid campaign "Yekaterinburg Expo 2020". The moderator of the session will be the ambassador of EXPO 2020, the rector of the USUE M.V. Fedorov. On the 21st of May the program of the youth forum will be continued by the expert's lecture and the operation of the cultural and communicative platform devoted to the history and culture of Eurasia.

On May 22 at the Palace of Independence the grand plenary session of the II world economic forum of youth «Generation Global: the youth initiative for sustainable economic development» will be held. In this event the Erwin Neher Nobel Prize laureate and the Guru of modern management -Ichak Adizes will take part.

Along with the experts of the highest level the young scientists and economists will present their works to compete for the Youth Grant of the Astana Club of Nobel Laureates.

We remind you that it is the second year when the participants of the scientific competitions of the EYEF will compete for the Youth Grant of the Astana Club of Nobel Laureates that is one million of rubles.It is already the second award, which the winner of the Eurasian economic youth forum will get.In 2012, the first winner of the Youth Nobel Prize became a graduate of the USUE, a teacher of the University of Cambridge Kirill Zavodov, he received the Astana Club of Nobel Laureates winner sing for the work "Bubbles in an open economy: Theory and empirical evidence".

The idea of conducting the youth equivalent of the Nobel Prize belongs to the Coordinating Board of the Association «Eurasian economic club of scientists» and the Academic Council of the Ural State University if Economics. Announcement of the results and awarding the winners will be conducted on May 22 within the Final of the II World youth festival in Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan).

The expert sessionswithin the framework of the forum will be conducted with the participation of the youth audience "Youth Global Mind - Education of the Future. Tendencies of the educational technologies development and the challenges of global education".The following experts will participate in the event: representatives of the education system of Kazakhstan, Russia, the USA, the Netherlands, Estonia and Germany.

The basic issues for the discussions are: the influence and the perspective use of the new global information networks and technologies in the field of professional education, global division of labour and the global labour migration.

On 23 and 24 of May the youth delegation will take part in the main events of the VI Astana Economic Forum.

The experts of the Astana forum will become the Nobel Prize Laureates in Economics: Laureate of the year 2005 professor at the Jewish University in Jerusalem Robert Aumann, Laureate of the year 1999 professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong Robert Mandell, as well as the top managers of the largest transnational companies and the members of the United Nations, Eurasian economic community, the club of Madrid.
