Year of 20th anniversary of independence to herald a new stage in Kazakhstan's development - Saudabayev
"The year of the 20th anniversary should become the beginning of a new stage in Kazakhstan's development", K. Saudabayev said. "That is why in his annual Address to the Nation the President outlined clear objectives and main development priorities not only for the current year, but for the next decade. On the threshold of the country's jubilee we should exert every effort to make the year of 2011 a vivid demonstration of Kazakhstan's historical achievements in socio-economic, cultural-humanitarian and democratic development."
The State Commission consists of four groups: on organization and financing, on information support and socio-political content of activities, on the issues of cultural and humanitarian content of activities, on holding jubilee events in the capital.
Representatives of the Presidential Administration, Government, ministries, governors of the regions and mayors of Astana and Almaty attended the session.
