Year end to be crowned with Astana National Museum opening

ASTANA. June 21. KAZINFORM "This year culture expenditures of the country have exceed KZT 35 billion," President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazanrbayev has announced at the Astana Opera and Ballet Theater opening ceremony today.

The Head of State informed the part of the funds was directed to the Kazakh National Museum construction, which is built according to his instruction.

"It was under the arches of this theater, when I spoke about the Development Strategy "Kazakhstan-2050" last year on the Independence Day. In frames of the Strategy, culture is designated as the genetic code of our nation. Independence became the Renaissance epoch of the Kazakh culture," Nursultan Nazarbayev noted.

The Kazakh Leader stressed that the Kazakh culture should become recognizable and an integrant part of the world cultural heritage. It can be referred to all kinds of the modern art- music, theater, cinema, literature, pictorial and so on. To do this it is necessary to use the forthcoming International specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 and other world events.

"Kazakhstan is a new state, that is why a great number of foreigners are interested in our traditions and culture," the Kazakh President emphasized.
