Year 'Astana - the cultural capital of the Turkic world' inaugurated

ASTANA. February 25. KAZINFORM An opening ceremony of the Year 'Astana - the cultural capital of the Turkic world' has been held at the Astana Palace of Peace and Accord.
Kazakh Minister of Culture and Information Darkhan Mynbay welcomed the guests and said that the Year 'Astana - the cultural capital of the Turkic world' in our country would make a positive contribution to the spiritual development of the Turkic world.
Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertugrul Gunay noted that Astana was rightfully chosen to be the cultural capital of the Turkic world this year. He thanked the Kazakh side for the warm reception and conveyed warm greetings from the people of Turkey to Kazakhstan.
