?XXI ? nuclear-free century? international conference to be held in Almaty

ALMATY. May 16. KAZINFORM /Sara Mustafina/ ?XXI – nuclear-free century? international conference, devoted to the 20 anniversary of International Antinuclear Movement (IAM) ?Nevada – Semipalatinsk? will be held in Almaty on May 18?, Academic Secretary of the movement Lyudmila Prus said.
Results of the IAM activity during these years will be summed up at the session, chaired by well known poet and public figure, leader of the IAM Olzhas Suleimenov. Further tasks and prospects will be defined, main issues of ecologic security, problems and ways of establishment of nuclear-free peace on the Earth will be discussed as well.
