XII Congress of Nur Otan Party kicks off in Astana

ASTANA. May 15. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev chairs the XII Congress of Nur Otan People?s Democratic Party in Astana today, Kazinform reports.
600 delegates from all regions of the country, who were elected at enlarged sessions of the political councils, are taking part in it. Over 200 guests were invited to the Congress. Outstanding politicians, public and cultural figures, representatives of foreign parties, international organizations, youth are among them.
Adoption of the Party development for 2009-2012, determination of priority directions of further activity of the Party on the most important issues solution of the society?s life, consideration of a number of organizational issues are on the agenda.
The Party?s development strategy for 2009-2012 was discussed at forums and sessions organized by Nur Otan.
