Xi Jinping praised contribution of Nursultan Nazarbayev to strengthening of Kazakh-Chinese relations

The Chinese leader expressed gratitude to President of Kazakhstan for participation in the annual session of the Boao, and said that Nazarbayev was the first leader of the CIS countries to be met this year.

"Dear President, for many years you have put a lot of efforts to strengthen the friendship of Kazakhstan and China, "- said Xi Jinping.

He noted that he highly appreciated the contribution that Nazarbayev introduced to the positive relationship between the two countries.

We remind that upon completion of the negotiations there will be signing of several documents. It is expected that these documents will include issues of strengthening economic and investment relations between the two countries, cooperation in the oil and gas sector.

In addition, the China National Petrolium Company President Zhou Jiping will have a talk with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazaerbayev.

The head of the Kazakh state arrived in Hainan to attend the Boao Forum for Asia, which is being held for the 12th time. During the forum, the President will hold talks with the leaders of international delegations which are participating in the forum.
