X Conference of Interregional Coop of Russia & Kazakhstan results discussed in E-Kazakhstan rgn

UST-KAMENOGORSK. November 19. KAZINFORM - At an expanded meeting the administration of East Kazakhstan region has discussed the results of X Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan which took place in Yekaterinburg involving the Presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Vladimir Putin.

The meeting discussed the issues of industrial cooperation and the previously signed agreements on partnership in the field of cultural ties with neighboring regions of Russia - Altai Krai, Novosibirsk and Omsk regions, with a view to enhancing the mutual collaboration.

One of the largest projects of industrial cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia approved by the Presidents of the two countries which already began to be implemented in the region, is the construction of a joint full cycle car factory "Asia Auto Kazakhstan" with capitals of the two states. The factory's commissioning with a range of related units is planned in three years.

At the industrial exhibition held in Yekaterinburg "ASIA AUTO" and "AvtoVAZ" presented co-production models.
