WWII veterans to get apartments in Astana on the threshold of Nauryz

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - 6 veterans of the Great Patriotic War have received keys to their new apartments in Astana today.
The ceremony took place at the Astana city administration and was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
"On behalf of Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev today we hand keys to the apartments to our veterans, participants of the Great Patriotic War. On the threshold of Nauryz, we would like to wish you good health and welfare. Our generation remembers and respects your heroic deeds. Today we live in such stable country only thanks to you," said deputy akim (mayor) of Astana city Andrei Lukin during the ceremony. He stressed that the veterans will be able to move into their new apartments by the end of March.
