ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Astana-based club Astana Arlans has defeated Baku Fires in the matches of the World Series of Boxing, which took place in Guba (Azerbaijan) 3:2, sports.kz informs.
In the first fight Temirtas Zhusupov (49 kg) won over Rasul Saliyev - 3: 0 (49:46, 49:46, 50:45), Nursultan Koshegulov (56 kg) lost to Magomed Gurbanov - 0: 3 (46:49, 45: 49, 46:49), Askhat Ualikhanov failed to do anything to stop Gaybatulla Gadzhialiev - 3: 0 (47:48, 46:49, 45:50), Vasiliy Levit (91 kg) won Rahil Mammadli by TKO in the third round, Meyir Nursultanov (75 kg) did not leave a chance to Dzhaba Hositashvili - 3: 0 (49:46, 48:47, 49:46). February 8 Astana Arlans will fight against USA Knockouts of the United States at 6 p.m. in Karaganda.
