Wrestlers from Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine gather in Petropavlovsk

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - International tournament on Greco-Roman wrestling in the memory of the USSR master of sports Ualikhan Nurkeyev has kicked off in Petropavlovsk.
230 athletes from Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine have gathered in the city. "The International tournament on Greco-Roman wrestling will be held for two days. 230 athletes, aged 10-12, from Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Russia will partake in the event. The winners will be awarded medals and a memorable cup of the USSR master of sports Ualikhan Nurkeyev. He was one of the greatest fighters of the North Kazakhstan region. He was tragically killed in the age of 49," informed the director of the regional youth sports school Galim Orkeshov.
