World's lead mathematicians will get together in Almaty

ALMATY. June 29. KAZINFORM. /Aigul Turysbekova/ - July 1 in Almaty the III Congress of the World Math Association of the Turkic countries is going to launch its work.
The math forum is held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was initiated by the World Math Association of the Turkic countries and is organized with assistance of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan. The purpose of the event is development t of relations and connections between the scientists, facilitation of repatriation of scholars, attraction of the lead scientist into the scientific and technical field of Kazakhstan and promotion of the image of the country.
The scholars will discuss the achievements and perspectives of development of mathematics and application of information technologies in scientific research, consolidation of international contacts and expansion of cooperation between the Turkic scholars.
The Association was founded in 1999 and unites the mathematicians of Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, China, Mongolia, Russia, USA and the EU countries. The first similar congress was held in 1999 at the Firat University in Turkey. The second congress took place in 2007 at the Sakarya University, of Turkey.
More than 600 lead scientists are going to participate in the forum this year.
