World leaders congratulate Nursultan Nazarbayev on his election victory

Today President Nursultan Nazarbayev had a telephone conversation with President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić. During the telephone conversation Tomislav Nikolić congratulated Nursultan Nazarbayev on his convincing victory in the election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan's President expressed hope that the Serbian Chairmanship of the OSCE will resolve the crisis in Ukraine. The two leaders also reaffirmed their readiness to work closely together to further strengthen the friendly Kazakh-Serbian relations. The conversation was initiated by the Serbian side. In addition Kazakhstan's President had a voice contract with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev Ilham Aliyev congratulated his counterpart on the victory in the special election held on 26 April. Two leaders discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and progress in implementing the agreements reached during the meeting on the sidelines of the Fourth Summit of the Caspian states in Astrakhan (September 29, 2014). Akorda noted that the conversation was initiated by the Azerbaijani side. Nursultan Nazarbayev also had telephone conversation with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Viktor Orban warmly congratulated Nursultan Nazarbayev on his convincing victory in the presidential election and wished him success in implementing major reforms. They also reviewed the prospects of bilateral relations taking into account the outcome of the Prime Minister's visit to Kazakhstan in April the current year. The conversation took place at the initiative of the Hungarian side.
