World Economic Forum: Baku lays foundation for Central Asia, South Caucasus development

BAKU. April 8. KAZINFORM The meeting of the World Economic Forum "Strategic Dialogue on the Future of the South Caucasus and Central Asia" has kicked off in Baku this morning.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab and foreign government delegations are in attendance.
Kazakhstan's delegation at the event is headed by First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
The forum is expected to focus on the problems related to industrial sector, mineral wealth, transport, infrastructure, agriculture, finance, telecommunications, and so on.
For regional and global players the World Economic Forum hosted by Baku is an important platform where they can lay the foundations for the development of the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
