KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The world community has been convinced again that the Kazakhstan society is united and monolithic in its support of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazinform quotes Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressing a plenary session of the Chamber on the draft Constitutional Law On amendments to some constitutional laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to K. Tokayev, the Law On amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted unanimously by the Parliament yesterday has entered into force today.

"This could be possible due to well-weighted decision of the Head of State who had found the only right formula of unification and consolidation of our nation. It is extremely important taking into account the complicated tendencies in the modern globalized world", the Senate Speaker noted.

As K. Tokayev added, the President's decision and his proposition to insert amendments to the Constitution and the corresponding constitutional laws as well as the President's recent Address to the Nation showed Kazakhstan's firm adherence to the democratic values, to the course to conducting economic and political reforms aimed at increasing the people's well-being.
