SHANGHAI. KAZINFORM Addressing today the CICA plenary session the President of Kazakhstan outlined the peculiarities of the modern world order.

"We witness today the drastic changes of the existing world order. The world changes and becomes less secure. We face new challenges and threats, the constant of the international law changes too," Nursultan Nazarbayev said. "I think adoption of the concept of the confidence-building measures in military and political sphere deserves special attention as before. The first joint step in this direction is the adoption of the CICA Declaration on elimination of terrorism and contribution to the dialogue of civilizations. Kazakhstan hails singing the memo of understanding between CICA and SCO," the President stressed.
