World Assembly of Turkic Peoples nominates Kazakh President for Nobel Peace Prize

"In 1992 Kazakhstan organized the first World Congress of the Spiritual Concord. Today Astana is named as the world's spiritual capital, which holds congresses of representatives of world and traditional religions on a permanent basis. The World Spiritual Forum will be held in the nearest months", the address says.

"Kazakhstan continues to play great role in peaceful development of the Central Asian countries and the Turkic world. President N.Nazarbayev played key role in defusing the situation in Kyrgyzstan after the April events", Yermentai Sultanmurat said.

During 20 years Kazakhstan is engaged in key problem of the global security - it became one of the leaders of nuclear disarmament in the world and conducts comprehensive work on ensuring peace in the whole world.
