World Anti-Crisis Conference and VI Astana Economic Forum open officially today
This day there is a grand opening of the World Anti-Crisis Conference, and the official opening of VI Astana Economic Forum, which is expected to be addressed by the welcome speech of the President of Kazakhstan.
The forum is attended by about 10,000 representatives from more than 90 countries, including the Heads of State and Government, prominent political and public figures, heads of international organizations and business corporations, leading researchers and Nobel laureates, as well as representatives of the world media.
The annual agenda of the Forum is a reflection of the modern world. This year there will be discussion of five main directions of global economic development:
1. Prospects for global economic growth and commodity prices in 2013.
2. Infrastructure and innovative technology.
3. Competitiveness in international markets, the effectiveness of communication platform called G-global.
4. Social aspects of economic growth.
5. Financial system, global risks and measures to prevent them.
Also at the forum there will be discussions of global leaders, bilateral talks and debates of the world media.
