Works at 2011 Winter Asian Games facilities on schedule

ALMATY. June 3. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev has met with heads of sport departments and institutions in his residency in Almaty today. The construction process of the VII Winter Asian Games facilities in Almaty and Almaty region was discussed at the meeting.
To date, the construction and reconstruction of facilities - Medeu sport complex and international complex of ski humping - are conducted in accordance with the schedule. The deadline is August 1. The reconstruction of Shymbulak ski resort is sponsored by private investors "Shymbulak Development" LLC and "Medeu Development" LLC.
Reconstruction of the B.Sholak Sport Palace is conducted over two phases - reconstruction of the Palace itself and construction of a 1500-seat stadium.
"Tabagan" sports and entertainment complex is included into the list of the Asian Games facilities as well.
