Worker killed in coal mine blast, Karaganda rgn

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - November 4 a gas explosion ripped through a coal mine in the South Zhezkazgan mine of "KAZ Minerals PLC" (former "Kazakhmys"), the press service of the company reported.
Gas explosion occurred during the mining operations in the shaft number 65. According to the head of the press service of the company Vladimir Magai, one of the workers has died at the scene, the other was injured.
