Women's contribution to raising of new generations is invaluable, I'm thankful to each of you - N. Nazarbayev

The President of Kazakhstan congratulated all women on their holiday - March 8.

"At time when there were a lot of difficulties our women fought through them demonstrating their perseverance and determination. Women made their great contribution to establishment of our country and strengthening of its foundation over the years of independence. Presently, their work still have a special impact on development of our country," the Head of State said.

N. Nazarbayev emphasized that women were the basis of each family and global competitiveness of Kazakhstan.

"The modern world has the gap between the roles played by women in the society is increasing. On one side, there are countries where women are locked up within their families. On the other side, there are countries where women find themselves far from their families, not paying enough attention to their children and losing interest in this sphere. Our country is like a golden mean. Our women demonstrate their talent at work, art, sport and science. At the same time, there are the women we all want them to be at home. Being aware of how it is difficult, the state tries to help you. And we will continue to render this support," N. Nazarbayev said.

The Head of State noted that women of Kazakhstan managed to combine greatly the image of women-mothers and women-professionals. "This is truly peculiar trend of our women, part of the foundation of our society and something which is now recognized globally as well our model of the interethnic and interreligious accord. It's been a long time like this for us already. I address all the women in the audience and of the country, you are undoubtedly our nation's treasure," N. Nazarbayev said. Concluding his speech the President congratulated women once again and wished each of women and families of Kazakhstan joy, family warmth, happiness and harmony.
