Woman killed in house fire in Kostanay region

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - One person was killed in a house fire in Kazakhstan this weekend, the Ministry of Emergencies reports.
The woman born in 1954 died when her apartment caught fire in the town of Rudny in the Kostanay region. Her lifeless body was found when firefighters put out the blaze. A single-family house broke into flames in Bulayevo village in northern Kazakhstan. The fire covered an area of 72 square meters. A 62-year-old man with severe thermal burns was rushed to a hospital from the scene. In another accident, a woman and a 17-year-old girl got carbon monoxide poisoning due to a gas leak at home in Astana. They were admitted to a local hospital.
