WINTER STORM WARNING: Low temperatures expected in most areas of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. January 5. KAZINFORM - KazHydroMet has declared a storm warning. In Kostanai, Aktobe, Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, January 4-6 - in Karaganda, and January 5-6 in the East Kazakhstan regions one expects sharp drop in temperature: at night severe cold is up to 30-35C, sometimes -38C, in the afternoon up to 23-28C, sometimes -31C.
January 5-6 in Kyzylorda region at night the temperature will be up to 20-25C, sometimes -30C, in the afternoon up to 15-20C, sometimes -23C below zero.
January 5-6 in Almaty, Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan regions the temperature is up to 15-20C, sometimes 25C, at daytime 10-15C, sometimes 18C below zero.
