Wildfire rages in mountains in Zhambyl region

TARAZ. KAZINFORM - A naturally occurring wildfire is raging in the Merkensky Mountains in the Zhambyl region.
Nearly 300 firefighters and local police officers are battling the blaze that started on Thursday. An emergency response center has been set up in the area.
It is still unclear how many hectares have been burned by the wildfire.
