WikiLeaks founder becomes awardee of the Kazakhstan Union of Journalists

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The founder of the controversial website WikiLeaks, Australian journalist-blogger Julian Assange has been awarded the prize of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan.
Results of the Republican contest for the best creative work have been published today in the newspaper "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda". By the way, Assange was awarded in the category "investigative journalism". A number of journalists and photographers of national and regional media became laureates of the prize. Diplomas of the Union were given to authorities, non-governmental and religious organizations for their support and understanding of press reporters.
