Wife stabs her spouse, a British citizen, in Atyrau

According to head of the regional internal affairs department G.Mukhtarova, the 27-year-old woman, a citizen of Gabon, had a spat with her 53-year-old British husband in a hotel. In the heat of the argument the wife stabbed her spouse with a knife several times. The wounded man was taken to hospital and admitted to an intensive care unit.

"The man who works for one of the local companies has undergone surgery. He is stable. An investigation has been initiated," G.Mukhtarova informed.
