When Gates met Buffet!
Despite his thriftiness, he donated $31 billion to charity and he was found to be extraordinarily generous with his sincere advice to those who are prepared to listen to him, like Bill Gates.
The front page headline "Most govt. workers in loan trap" (Aug. 5) made me recall Warren Buffet's advice to young people: ‘Stay away from credit cards (bank loans) and invest in yourself and remember:
A. Money does not create man but it is the man who created money.
B. Live your life, as simple as you can.
C. Don't do what others say, just listen, but do what you feel good.
D. Don't go on brand name; just wear those things in which you feel comfortable.
E. Don't waste your money on unnecessary things; just spend on things really needed.
F. After all it's your life then why you give chance to others to rule your life.
These time tested advices from the simplest of all the rich men should not be ignored at any cost. - S.H. Moulana, Riyadh
