Well’s fracturing took place in Mangistau oblast

ASTANA. April 11. KAZINFORM – On April 10 in Mangistau region Zhanaozen town on site of "OzenMunayGaz" JSC oil and gas mining company there was a hydraulic fracture of a well, the press service of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan reports.
During the overhaul repair of the 8971 well hydraulic fracturing occurred which was followed by gas formation fluid flowing. Fountain height was 8-9 meters. Fortunately, there were no victims.
After four hours the well was sealed with a high-pressure valve. In the emergency and recovery operation 20 people and 4 pieces of "MunayFieldService" LLP equipment had been used.
