Weightlifter Ilya Ilyin named Athlete of the Year

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Two-time Olympic champion and four-time world weightlifting champion Ilya Ilyin was named the Athlete of Year at the Choice of the Year in Kazakhstan Awards, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
The athlete shared this exciting news via his Instagram account. It is worth mentioning that the 26-year-old weightlifter was also named the best athlete at the World Weightlifting Championship that was recently held in Almaty.
